More creators and founders are (finally) calling out the crap.
Not every tool that uses a little AI under the hood needs to slap “AI-POWERED” in bold caps across its homepage.

The hype cycle’s calming down. People are asking better questions:

• What’s it actually doing?

• Is it saving time, or just adding steps?

• Do I need this, or is this just FOMO?

Feels like the beginning of a new phase: less magic, more utility.
We needed this.

AI-Powered Hiring Filters Are Getting Way Too Comfortable Deciding Who’s “Smart Enough”

Came across a job app recently that auto-rejected candidates based on how they answered AI-graded questions—before a human ever saw a resume.

It’s efficient, sure. But also dumb.
Especially when you realize: the AI’s grading creativity, clarity, and tone based on… what?

We’re not building systems to find great people.
We’re building systems to filter out risk, and that is not the way.

Final Thought:
If the system can’t explain why it made a decision, it probably shouldn’t be making it.
